About HumanoidUptime

Reliability claims
deserve a closer look.

Robot companies show what their machines can do. HumanoidUptime looks for the operating data behind those demonstrations—and clearly shows what is still unknown.

Why it exists

Demos are visible. Reliability often is not.

HumanoidUptime launched in 2026 to make public information about runtime, failures, human intervention and recovery easier to find and understand. It is an early-stage research project—not a testing laboratory, certification body or industry association.

Who is behind it

Independent and open to correction.

Ben Schlund founded HumanoidUptime and is responsible for the project. The aim is to build a useful public record while being honest about its current size and coverage.

Independence

How the project is funded

Funding
HumanoidUptime is currently funded by its founder. HumanoidUptime has no external investors, sponsors, paid listings or commercial relationships with the robotics companies and operators covered on this site.
Conflicts
HumanoidUptime has no professional or financial ties to any company or organization currently covered on the site. If that changes, it will be disclosed here.
Future products
Paid research or software products may come later. Payment will never influence which evidence is included, how it is classified or where it appears.
What “independent” means
The project may be independent, but that does not make every source independent. Each claim still shows whether it comes from a test body, operator or manufacturer.

Human review

A person checks every record.

Before a record is published, a person checks it against the sources linked on the page.

AI and automation

Useful tools, not sources.

Automation and AI may help find, organize, compare and draft material. They are never treated as evidence and cannot make a source more reliable than it is. Missing facts are never replaced with generated estimates.
